Professional Experience

With over 25 years in experience in public practice, Leena has broad experience in all areas of taxation and financial reporting for corporation, partnerships, trusts and individuals. She has significant experience with non-profit entities as well as with high net worth individuals. Leena has consulting experience in tax planning, tax research and tax compliance services. In addition to possessing strong technical expertise, she specializes in auditing employee benefit plans.

Maximizing value for her customers while ensuring regulatory compliance, communicating with clients in easy-to-understand manner, and being accessible and available to her clients when needed are some of her key attributes.

Leena works extensively with closely held manufacturers, distributors, heath care, professional services, real estate and non-profit industries.

Education & Affiliations

Leena received her Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with concentration in Advanced Accounting and Auditing from University of Pune, India and her Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University.

She also is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs.

Recognition

Upon passing the Certified Public Accounting exam, Leena was awarded the Elijah Watts Sell certificate in recognition of performance with high distinction when taking all four sections of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination at one sitting.

Professional Organization Involvement

Leena is the Past-Chair of Taxation Committee of the Inland Empire Chapter of California Society of CPA’s for 2014-15.

Personal

Leena and her husband Anil, live in Riverside.  They have two daughters Shaleen & Serena.  When not assisting her clients, Leena enjoys spending time with her family & traveling.
