Professional Experience:

Phil started his public accounting career with Haskins & Sells in their Los Angeles office in 1973. He spent two years with the firm primarily in the tax and small business departments. In 1975, he joined the firm of Thomas, Byrne & Smith in Riverside, CA working primarily on audits of municipalities and special districts. Phil joined our firm in the latter 1970's, left to start his own firm, and then came back to our firm in the early 1990's to become a partner. Phil has many years of experience providing auditing, consulting, litigation support, and tax services to businesses, governmental agencies, health care, real estate developers and contractors, wholesalers, manufacturers, and service industries. His diverse background enables him to provide practical guidance and sound recommendations to businesses.
